We are blessed to have Deacon Kin Borja. Deacon Kin is one of 14 siblings and the third oldest in the family. He grew up in Guam and graduated high school as a member of the National Honor Society.
In 1972, Kin met and married Alicia Chow and relocated to California.
In 1985, he first joined the Knights of Columbus and rose thru the ranks to become a Grand Knight of Council 3449, then appointed as the District Deputy No. 67 and subsequently elected to the position of State Deputy in Hawaii and in 2009 was appointed as the District Master for the State of Hawaii of the 4th Degree of the Knights.
Deacon Kin was accepted into the Diaconate class in 2003 and was ordained in 2007.
He is currently serving at Saint Elizabeth Parish in Aiea. He has served as the Director of Religious Education for the Barbers Point Catholic Community, Catechist, Eucharistic Minister and Prison and Hospice Ministries.
